Important stuff to know

  • You can book any of our sessions through the Shop section - simply add to cart!

  • All materials are provided for every class, unless noted in the class description. If you do need to bring materials or do homework prior to the session, we’ll send an email reminder ahead of time.

  • Classes are fully transferable! Just let us know if someone is going to take your spot.

For term-long or multi-session workshops, if you miss one class we will work with you to make up a session.

For workshops run by an external teacher, we work on a case-by-case basis with the teacher. This information is in the class description.

  • You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email. We aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day.

  • Class pricing depends on who is teaching or hosting, and if the session is guided or self-directed.

We do try to keep classes accessible and work with a variety of groups to fund some of our community sessions.

  • Sure can! We have a range of options to book our space for your private use, with or without our assistance in hosting, classes and promotion. Get in touch and we’ll send you the info.

  • This is exactly the space for you! Mish Mash Make is all about embracing imperfection, playing with materials you don’t have access to, learning to let go and finding a bit of joy. You are most welcome here!

  • Our space is fully wheelchair and mobility aid accessible. We have a toilet which may be tricky to manage with a wheelchair.

  • There’s plenty of free parking nearby - we recommend parking on Rumgay or Porutu Street to keep the parks directly outside free for our neighbours.

  • We believe in creating a safe and welcoming space for everyone in the community - this includes our rainbow whānau, disabled friends, neurodivergent people, and those from backgrounds different to ours.

Please read our code of conduct to help us keep the studio safe and welcoming for all.
