About Us
Our studio is a “third space” outside of home and work where you can experiment with different art supplies, connect with others and rediscover the joy of making without an expected outcome.
Who We Are
Katie and Tash are the co-founders of Mish Mash Make. They believe in the power of art and creativity and its ability to enhance lives.
With backgrounds deeply rooted in creativity, education, and community building, Katie and Tash share a passion for providing inclusive, welcoming spaces where people of all ages can explore art without pressure or expectation.
Together, they have created Mish Mash Make as a vibrant third space where tamariki, rangatahi, and adults can slow down, get messy, and rediscover the simple pleasure of creating. Their work is guided by the belief that creativity belongs to everyone, and that making things together helps build confidence, connection, and wellbeing within the community.
There is no right or wrong way to create: no art is bad art. Every mark, splash, and creation tells its own story.
